Hello! I am Rachel, an Artist, Product Designer, and Uni Instructor of Fine Art currently based in the US.

My art practice is rooted in the experiences of the everyday. The ubiquitous happenings often overlooked contain the most depth and visceral reaction. I cherish the meditative moments; chopping ingredients for a meal, losing time in a drawing, or witnessing the spring white blooms of a pear tree flutter, creating snow on the city streets below. These instances bond us tto temporal experience and each other.

Artists and Designers are the revealers of connection. They create a seamless connection between human and object.

It is paramount as a designer to imbue this opportunity of common connection and refinement in my designs. Allowing space for rest and reflection translates to a minimalistic design preference. Minimalism is not a lack of (information, content, imagery, style, or personality), but rather a true expression of the most native form.
